Our story begins with two dreamers—Gary and Jackie—who crossed paths on the shores of Martha's Vineyard in 2017. From that moment, a beautiful love story unfolded, guiding them toward their shared passion: creating a home in Santa Fe, where dreams come alive.

With unwavering resolve, they built their dream home, Tumbleweed Ranch, in the stunning foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, where breathtaking views stretch in every direction. In May 2024, they joyfully celebrated their wedding amongst friends and family. Together, they have crafted a sanctuary that radiates love and creativity in every detail.

Their journey has already borne fruit, with Jackie's acclaimed play, In My Father's House, captivating audiences and earning rave reviews, before a Santa Fe audience in the fall of 2024. Building on this success, Gary and Jackie are working hard preparing their next exciting production.

  • For over twenty-five years, Jacalyn “Jackie” Kane has been a visionary force in creating, producing, and directing live award shows, theatrical events, and major music festivals across both coasts. Her journey began in the vibrant cultural landscape of 1980s New York City, where she worked alongside David Maldonado and helped manage legendary Latin artists such as Rubén Blades, Marc Anthony, and Menudo—an experience that immersed her deeply in the richness of Latin music and storytelling.

Driven by a passion for honoring underrepresented voices, Jacalyn went on to produce and direct the prestigious First Americans in the Arts Awards in Los Angeles, celebrating Native American talents like Wes Studi, Zahn McClarnon, Rita Coolidge, and Adam Beach. Through her company Kane Productions, she brought to life the Whole Earth Festival at Balboa Park and produced sold-out concerts for icons including Kris Kristofferson, Jackson Browne, Lila Downs, Judy Collins, Mavis Staples, and Natalie Cole.

In a more intimate chapter of her creative life, Jacalyn merged her love of storytelling, ritual, and romance by founding My Vineyard Elopement on Martha’s Vineyard. Specializing in bespoke ceremonies and elopements, she built a heartfelt and highly regarded service known for crafting deeply personal weddings that honored each couple’s unique love story. Her team orchestrated in the past decade over 400 intimate celebrations on the island, helping couples find sacredness in simplicity.

Now based in New Mexico, Jacalyn continues her theatrical journey through Tumbleweed Ranch Productions, co-founded with her husband, director Gary Brown. Together, they are creating immersive, multimedia theatrical works that bridge myth, history, and emotional truth—beginning with their original stage production The Last Dance of Billy the Kid

Whether on stage or at the altar, Jacalyn brings the same devotion to love, authenticity, and soulful connection to every story she helps bring to life.
