Kristina and Baqir met in college and eloping to Martha’s Vineyard was just one of the many adventures that Kristina said yes to during their long relationship. After being together for 8 years, getting married was just the natural next step in making each other happy, finding endless joy, building a fun life together and teaching one another how not to dwell on the unimportant.  

They were married at the beginning of August on one of our favorite beaches, Lambert’s Cove Beach, in West Tisbury. The first look photos were taken at the historic Summer Camp Hotel in Oak Bluffs.

The weather that day tested the couple’s sweet goofiness and wonderful sense of humor. They experienced everything from beautiful sunny skies to hot summer rain. Nevertheless, nothing could stop them from getting married that day and we were so moved by the way they welcomed the unpredictable with grace and laughter. 

They were so extremely elated to be on that beach exchanging their vows in front of their families. By the end of the ceremony they were literally dancing in the rain which turned the photoshoot into a brilliant and fun experience.

By the time they arrived for their dinner at the Red Cat Kitchen they were joyfully rain soaked and never happier.
